Waleed Bin Khalid

Waleed Bin Khalid is originally from a beautiful hill station in Pakistan. He has completed his Graduation in Computer Science from Pakistan before moving to the UAE. Having stayed in the UAE for at least 10 years, with a background predominantly within Facilities Management and the Education sector – he is no novice when it comes to schools and leading them to their optimal running.

Teamwork makes the dream work would be his motto; as he has always supported those who wish to learn from him and keeps strong ties with his mentors. His attitude to learning is one of continuous growth, and he always expresses how blessed he is to have supportive colleagues and friends around him.

Leadership is a natural trait within him, but he has remained humble throughout his employment tenure – because his morals stem from encouragement, and support. Not one to brush problems under the rug, he faces them head-on to find solutions.

Challenges bring excitement to him, because positivity and thinking outside the box bring a high sense of fulfilment during work projects – having curiosity as a trait also helps bring knowledge of the industry to the table when it is needed.

Lastly, he provides a good balance of industry expertise, encouragement, critical thinking, and resolve; making him a good fit for ASCS and its affiliations.
