A Unique School
The ASCS campus opened its doors in September 2019 to meet a growing demand for the high quality and values-based education that Al Salam has provided since 1985. Our family ethos, culture of high expectations and achievement, and importance given to Islamic values, UAE heritage, and innovation, makes us one of the most unique schools in Dubai.
Having already developed a mature and high performing secondary school at ASPS for more than 10 years, ASCS became the new home for over 400 existing Al Salam students and created the capacity for us to expand our provision, curriculum and facilities to better prepare our students for their future.
Our School follows the National Curriculum for England (NCfE) beginning in Foundation Stage with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and ending with IGCSE in Year 11 and A level qualifications in Year 13. In addition, we offer personalised learning pathways which also include BTEC Level 2 and 3 qualifications for Key Stage 4 and 5 respectively.
ASCS has modern purpose-built facilities including a 6-lane swimming pool with an accompanying beginners pool, extensive sports areas and a dedicated Islamic and UAE Heritage centre. Flexible indoor and outdoor learning spaces as well as creative and innovative specialist rooms which make Al Salam Community School a true community of learners grounded in high academic aspirations and underpinned by social and moral responsibility.
What we are all about
Our first core value we live by at Al Salam is to ‘Put Our Children First’. This means that our most important endeavor is to create an environment where Every child is special, where they grow into remarkable individuals through their learning and experience at ASCS.
As an independent family run school, we strive to create an environment which also shapes the moral compass of all our children. We promote a set of four attributes among students and staff, these are:

What we have achieved
High student achievement and exemplary student behaviour has been a hallmark of Al Salam’s Legacy. We cherish these aspects of our reputation and look to further enrich it as we grow.
Our inaugural examination results were outstanding with 96% A*-C and 88% A*-B at IGCSE in Year 11. Our inaugural Year 13 students achieved 100% A*-C with nearly half at A* grade in A level. They have since commenced studies at leading universities locally and globally.
