Sadia Saba

Sadia Saba is a qualified senior leader with over 15 years of experience working in a variety of  school contexts. She has an undergraduate degree in Computing with Business Management from Kingston University, London; with further postgraduate study from the University of Reading.  

Sadia first started her teaching career as a Computer Science teacher in an outstanding school in England as part of the ‘Building Schools for the Future’ programme.  After only her first term of teaching, she was appointed as an Assessment Coordinator, before moving on to various leadership roles in Computing & Business. Since then, she has served as a Lower-Primary Headteacher and more recently as a Secondary Headteacher.     

Sadia is passionate about teaching which stimulates students’ intellectual curiosity, engages them in learning and enables excellent attainment and progress. Sadia was instrumental in delivering John Hattie’s Visible Learning in her previous school. She believes  that it is essential to future-proof students with learning skills and life-long dispositions that make a real and positive contribution to society.

In her spare time, Sadia also enjoys cooking, hiking in picturesque landscapes and travelling to new  countries to learn about diverse cultures.

Now based in Dubai, Sadia brings this wealth of  knowledge and understanding of driving school improvement to ASCS. She aims to continue the recently developed whole school strategy, based on a shared vision and mutual trust with all in the community.    

As Vice Principal in a revised school structure, Sadia will be responsible for leading all academic affairs across both the Primary and Secondary sections to build a consistent school culture.
