Reading is our no. 1 priority
Mohammad Zayed Al Hoda

Zayed’s student spotlight not only showcases his passion for reading but also illuminates the school’s priority of promoting literacy. By nurturing a love for reading, we empower students to become lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and engaged members of society. Zayed’s student spotlight reminds us of the transformative power of reading and the profound impact it can have on our students, school and community.

Reading challenges are like thrilling adventures for me. They encourage me to explore different stories, discover new authors, and read more books than ever before. It’s like a friendly competition where I challenge myself to read as much as I can.

As a Reading Champ:

I once won as a Reading Champion in our school, which means I get to encourage other students to participate in reading challenges. Reading challenges have made such a positive impact on me, and I want to share that joy with others. I want them to discover the magic of books.

Well, reading has made learning super exciting for me! When I read books, I get to imagine myself in all sorts of amazing places and meet interesting characters. It’s like going on adventures without even leaving my room!

Reading helps me use my imagination and think creatively. I can picture the scenes in my mind and create my own ideas about what might happen next. It’s like a movie playing inside my head!

Not only that, but reading also teaches me new things. I learn about different animals, places, and even historical events. It’s like going on a journey of discovery.

Books also introduce me to new words and expand my vocabulary. When I come across words I don’t know, I can look them up and learn what they mean. It’s like building a treasure chest of words that I can use in my own writing.

The best part is that reading is fun! I get to laugh at funny jokes, feel excited during thrilling moments, and even shed a tear during sad parts. It’s like experiencing all these emotions in one book.
