My involvement in events and activities at ASCS has greatly enriched my experience as a student in many ways such as:

1. Expanding my social circle: By participating in events and activities, I get the opportunity to meet new people and make friends with people who share my interests. This helps me feel more connected to my community as I have people to rely on and it also helps with some challenges I face.

2. Building skills: Many events and activities offer opportunities to develop new skills, such as leadership, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and most important for a person like me; time management. These skills are very valuable to me for personal and academic benefits.

One very important benefit for me has been to boost my confidence as a student: By getting involved in events and activities at school, I get the opportubnity to push myself out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to try new things.
